While her content varies from hair tutorials to travel videos, and all aspects of life in between, the impact of her content is distilled in her Crown Revival initiative. This groundbreaking mission is committed to empowering young girls with the knowledge, tools, and support needed to cherish and celebrate their natural hair journeys.
Commanding a strong presence across various social media platforms – YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest, she has also featured on Canadian Television and in Elle Canada.
Adanna’s impact is global. She was recognized in the 2021 YouTube Canada Impact report by Oxford Economics. And she was selected for the prestigious 2023 YouTube Black Voices Program, solidifying her position as a trailblazer in the digital space.

How would you describe your brand as a content creator?
Allow me to introduce myself as Adanna Madueke, a vibrant Beauty & Lifestyle Digital Creator hailing from Canada. With a captivating presence across diverse social media platforms, I hold sway in inspiring women to embrace their authentic beauty. My influence transcends the digital landscape, fostering empowerment and self-acceptance among women worldwide.
What are the biggest challenges you face as a content creator?
Imposter syndrome.
What advice would you offer to someone just starting out as a content creator?
Embrace your truest self, and watch as your tribe naturally gravitates towards you.
What has been your proudest moment as a content creator so far? Why was it so meaningful to you?
My proudest moment as a content creator was when YouTube honored me with a home shoot, recognizing my trailblazing impact in the beauty community. This recognition, echoed in the prestigious 2021 YouTube Canada Impact report by Oxford Economics, was incredibly meaningful as it validated my dedication and contributions to my craft on a national scale.
What gives you energy as a content creator? And what takes your energy?
What fuels my passion is the fervent desire to shield women from the oppression I’ve endured due to my identity as a black woman. Witnessing the struggle for acceptance has ignited a fire within me to advocate fiercely for inclusivity and empowerment.
Surprisingly, there’s little that drains my energy, except perhaps the relentless drive to do more for my community than my current capacity allows. Yet, amidst it all, my love for what I do remains unwavering.
What misconceptions about content creators do you wish you could dispel?
One misconception I wish to dispel is the undervaluation of the work and investment involved in impactful content production. However, I’m encouraged by the progress we’ve made in raising awareness about the true dedication required.
What is your ultimate goal as a creator? What steps are you taking to get there?
My ultimate goal as a creator is to profoundly impact the lives of women globally, and I’m relentless in my pursuit of it. From the content I produce across digital platforms to the networks I cultivate and the organizations I align myself with, every step I take is deliberate and purposeful towards this overarching mission.
How did you discover TubeBuddy and what made you decide to try it?
